Origin and properties: Argan oil is extracted from the seeds of the Argan, Ardjan ironwood tree (Argania spinosa L. Skeel) from the Sapotaceae family, whose occurrence is practically limited to Morocco. Traditionally, the oil is extracted mechanically and has an intense aroma and flavor.
