The history of J. H. Müller begins in 1948, when Johannes Hinrich Müller founded the company in Ahlerstedt near Hamburg as a distribution company for chemical-technical products. The company has been based in Hamburg since 1952 and has developed consistently over the years.
Today, the focus is on high-quality fats and vegetable oils for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical and dietetics sectors. Since 1980, Jan Müller shaped the company for many years before handing it over to Günther Meier at the turn of the year 2011/2012. Together with his son Fabian Meier, he continues to run J. H. Müller GmbH in Rosengarten today.
