Origin and properties: Black cumin oil is produced from the seeds of Nigella sativa L. from pure Egyptian seed. Gentle mechanical pressing and subsequent filtration produces a fatty, yellow to green-brown, clear oil with a spicy smell and a slightly pungent to hot taste. The oil is characterized by its essential oil content.
Use: The fatty oil contains approx. 70 % unsaturated fatty acids, valuable fat supplements such as sterols and vitamin E as well as essential oil. This makes it a high-quality dietary supplement.
