Origin and properties: Chamomile oil is a concentrated extract from chamomile flowers. The chamomile flowers used are extracted using a gentle process and processed with soybean oil, then stabilized with tocopherol and standardized with alpha-bisbolol and guaiazulene. 1 kg of chamomile oil corresponds to an extract of approx. 135 g of flowers. Chamomile oil is a light blue liquid and lipid-soluble, but not soluble in water and alcohol. Uses: Due to its antiphlogistic properties, camomile is indicated for dry skin with a slight tendency to inflammation.
