Origin and properties: Evening primrose oil, refined, is obtained from the seeds of the evening primrose by pressing/extraction and subsequent refining. Evening primrose is native to the northwest of North America. Today, the plant can be found throughout North America as far as Mexico, in the Middle East and East Asia as well as in Europe. The oil is light yellow in color and almost neutral in smell and taste.
