Origin and properties: The pulp and seeds of the ripe fruit are separated by peeling machines and the pulp is processed directly into oil. The area of origin is all countries in the tropical belt. Palm oil is a buttery, dark yellow to reddish-yellow fat with a weak.

Use: As cooking fat and in the production of margarine. Palm oil is also used in cosmetics (soap production).
