Origin and properties: Rapeseed oil (colza oil) is obtained from rapeseed by pressing/extraction and subsequent refining. The oil is light yellow and has an almost neutral smell and taste. The main growing areas of the rapeseed plant are the temperate zones of Europe, North America and East Asia.
